Pride & Prejudice, one of Jane Austen's most famous works, was adapted for mini series or movies several times. Have you seen the latest one, starring Keira Knightly?
I have to admit, this is not my favorite adaptatioin. The best edition so far was considered by Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, and that's the one I love the most. You may call the Colin Firth version's more of an adult, mature and modest, and Keira Knightly's version was more passionate and more childish (well, to me). I'll talk about Keira Knight's version today. For the Keira Knightly's Pride & Prejudice, they expressed the young love between lovers and the love under the restriction of the society. It touched me at the end of the movie. How people detest each other at the first and after they finally knew the real her/him, they realized that they're meant for each other. Another great cast I have to mention is Mr. Bennet, starring Donald Sutherland, was a wonderful acter. He not only expressed how he truly loved Elizabeth and the feeling successfully spread to the audience. And I have to say, the music soundtrack's actually great! I love the music more than the movie itself. If you have time, you could try.... Well, not everything's so perfect about a movie. The over-acting and too-faked actress made me sick..... I understand that women were a bit crazy about balls, but It's too over... It almost made me wanted to leave the theatre 15 mins after the film began. (Well...and some of the plots were too boring actually..)
